Alloys

After 30 years in the business there aren’t too many alloys we haven’t worked with. From industrial wire to aerospace applications we’re able to work with nearly any alloy, and regularly exceed our customer’s specifications for consistency, finish, and delivery.

Through our inventory of dozens of types of alloys and responsive supply chain we are able to get you what you need when you need it. Our lead times are some of the best in the industry. By utilizing lean manufacturing methods and customized stocking programs we’re able to get your product to you in a matter of days to just a couple weeks in most cases.

Typical Applications

Our alloys are utilized across a diverse range of industries.

Stainless Steel (302, 304, 304L, 305, 316, 316L, 430): Ideal for medical devices, food processing equipment, automotive components, and construction due to its excellent corrosion resistance and strength.

NICKEL CHROME (600, 650, 675, 710, 40B): Commonly used in heating elements, jet engine components, and high-temperature industrial applications due to its resistance to oxidation and high-temperature strength.

NICKEL IRON (GLASS SEALING) (2918, 42, 42-6, 4706, 52): Essential for creating hermetic seals in electronic devices, glass-to-metal connections, and vacuum tubes due to its controlled thermal expansion properties.

BRASS (240): Commonly used in plumbing fixtures, hardware, musical instruments, and electrical components due to its machinability and corrosion resistance.

BRONZE (521): Utilized in bearings, bushings, gears, and marine hardware due to its wear resistance and corrosion resistance.

IRON CHROME ALUMINUM (750, 812, 872): Widely used in heating elements for furnaces, toasters, and industrial heating due to its high electrical resistance and high-temperature strength.

MONEL (400): Excellent resistance to corrosion by many acids and alkalis, making it suitable for marine applications, chemical processing equipment, and valve components.

NICKEL COPPER (30, 60, 90, 180, 300): Used in various electronic components and applications requiring specific electrical and magnetic properties.

NICKEL IRON (120): Applied in magnetic cores and electronic devices requiring specific magnetic permeability.

Nickel Plated Steel (low carbon steel) (NPS 20%, NPS 8%, NPS 4%, NPS 2%): Provides enhanced corrosion resistance and improved solderability for various electronic and industrial applications.

NICKEL / PURE NICKEL (200, 201, 205D, 211, 212, 270): Used in chemical processing, electronics, and aerospace applications due to its excellent corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity.
